Genie and her husband, Jim, moved to Philadelphia in 2016 and she was confirmed at Saint Mark’s in 2018. In recent years, she has served on the Stewardship Committee, volunteered with Choir Camp, and served on the 175th Anniversary Committee, focusing primarily on the Gala. She is currently involved in the discernment process with a candidate for the priesthood at Saint Marks. Beyond her work at Saint Mark’s, Genie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Rosenbach Rare Books Museum and Library and is the Vice President of her Condominium Association. For the past 14 years, she and Jim have been volunteer cradle care parents, providing temporary care for special needs newborns awaiting adoption.
