A Colony of Heaven Sessions Announced
The Rector is initiating a discussion with the Parish called A Colony of Heaven.  These sessions are intended to be opportunities to reflect on strengthening the parish, and each session will engage three themes:

1. A study of Romans 12:4-13
2. An examination of how we invite, welcome, and connect newcomers to Saint Mark's
3. A reflection on whether we have the staff, resources, and space to carry out our mission

The clergy and Vestry very much want to hear from as many people as we can.  Please try to attend one of the six sessions that have been organized.  Please sign up in advance using the clipboards at the Ushers' Table or in the Parish Hall or via the online sign-up form here. Sessions will be held as follows.  Please sign up for only one session.

Confirmation and Reception Classes Announced
Are you thinking about being confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church?  Classes have begun at Saint Mark’s for all those who wish to explore their faith more deeply in relation to these options, even those who are very uncertain about making such a commitment. Classes will last about an hour and a half, and will be held on Sunday afternoons from January 28 to March 18 and from April 8 through April 22, after Coffee Hour. Parents’ Night Out Pajama Party Fundraiser, February 23 from 6 to 10 p.m.
The Choirs of Saint Mark’s are hosting an evening of childcare as a fundraiser event! Potty-trained children ages 3-10 are welcome to come eat pizza, do crafts, watch a movie, and enjoy fun with friends! The cost is $50 for the first child and $25 for each sibling. All proceeds go towards the Combined Choirs’ trip to New York City in April. Space is limited – mark your calendars now and stay tuned for further details, including how to register.
